Soft steps, but he heard

Urge resisted, image blurred

She caressed his silhouette

with lashes engaged

His guided embrace

she twirled with grace

Once more he lifted

amidst thunderous applause

A forehead kissed

and a heart touched

The magic showed

She belonged to him

Bed season

i lie, but then i lie,
you see what i see?
the flickering light on the ceiling
Or meadows outside the window?
The choices we make
happiness lets fake?

Thousand words are not enough

So let me say it with a picture

Diver who finds the pearl in rough

a child who says it with a rose

for the soldier who weeps on his knees

or the woman who lost someone close

Let me capture that jumping jack

let me capture that baby’s walk

let me capture the vast sky

let me capture that goa’s shack

A picture to say the story

of the soldier who brought nation glory

A picture to safely keep

for the proud mother when her baby sleeps

From the mountain’s covered with snow

to the furious rivers that flow

let me capture every moment

On my frame when it will all freeze

Gorgeous Blisters

In poetry on September 4, 2013 at 16:20

Their face spoke out the emotions

From being unknown to known

Their bodies played out the song

On floor these birds had flown

She looked at She and smiled

At the prettiest polka she wore

He practiced spin turn pointe

On his bandaged feet once more

With blisters on their feet

Slowly they took their next step

Sweat trickled down her face

He assured her not to fret

He showcased the pretty princess

As the diva moved on the floor

Success blessed with its presence

In a room filled with encore

Morning and ever after

Her febrile body twitched

She wanted to lie down some more

As the sunlight kissed her face

He was about to reach the door

Just then she smiled a little

He passed on her favourite wink

She woke up from her sleep

A moment when they both didn blink

She demanded her daily kiss

He played on a little

Ruthlessly the candy denied

To make the kid cry some more

And then he happily obliged

They all moved together

far far away

to be together

reach out together

Meet the friends for life

and laugh together

They opened their hearts

allowed friends to peep

to learn from mistakes

that hurt all of them deep

beyond barriers and dogmas

they would leap

to make friends happy

across the world they will sleep

A rose for her love

The memories lost and gone

A silent prayer on the lips

ā€œRest in peaceā€ etched in stone

She sashayed on the table

My oversized sweater her only friend
On this frozen cold night
True lovers we will pretend.

Her hands kept caressing the tresses
as she carefully felt her own lips
what use is this life? she thought
in front of the mirror, a blind witness

He looked at his finger,
There used to be a promise right there
she dances and fades, leavingĀ the rash still there
Smoke fills the room and memories linger.
