NaBloPoMo:Post 26:Pretend

In poetry on July 26, 2009 at 18:56

The way you tugged

at my coat sleeve

to hold you close

for warmth.

The way you rubbed

your nose on me

and hugged me back

each chance.

I thought it was

what my heart felt

I felt you felt it too

Ya Stupid.

Just this time

can you pretend

You’ve been loving me

Till end.

  9. You are talking about unrequired love…and I can’t help but thinking, time heals all wounds, even those inflicted by love that is not reciprocated.

Missed reading your posts.. so reading all of them at one go.

    • Time does heal..and may be the person actually tried that after this…this poem is all about that one small moment when one has this desire “love me just once again..please” šŸ™‚
