Nablopomo:Post 13:Rains

Ok finally i write a post on MUMBAI rains. Not that i don’t like rains, i very much like it, as long as it does not happen when i am either going to the office or coming back from office.

Like every day, skies were clear till the time I was about to leave for office. I don’t know but some camera up there is surely keeping a watch on me. Seems like they have a mandate to ensure i don’t reach office DRY.

Lesson learnt: When skies are clear, rush to office. Don’t wait.

Back in office its the most beautiful site to see the rains. May be i will post some snaps i take from my phone (Oh i got a new phone now :P, after losing two in last 6 months :(. I confessed that in my last post). So we have this meeting room in office with big windows, from where one can admire the rains falling on the hills far away. It actually turns very gloomy, and then i get thoughts, or rather i can actually smell…PAKORAS :(..you know if you just think of it, you can actually taste it..yummm…Isn’t it? 😉 try again!!!

There have been occassions when i have made a courageous attempt at reaching office, me and my colleague. We used to take a Rick all the way to office, but that day the water was upto knee level so we took a bus. All the way to office, only to find no one had reached office :(. We went back home before lunch that day.

Lessons learnt: When its raining heavy, stay home and enjoy pakoras.

Well why did i start writing this one in first place :(. I actually got completely drenched today, all i did was walk from Charni road station to the Birla kreeda kendra for my dance class. I had an umbrella, but still :(. To top it all i was hopping from one brick to another on the pavement, till I finally landed my foot in a puddle :(.Well the kids passing by did enjoy a lot to see my leather shoes submerge, Ya ya i love kids cute na :D!!!! Damn it, what was there to enjoy in that?? Uh my shoes 😦

Lesson learnt: Buy rainy shoes 😦 save leather shoes for the rest of year
