T20 World Cup: Viru accepts it

Virendar Sehwag has finally accepted it that he got injured in IPL semi-final, and was still carrying it to the T20 world cup. I understand how Dhoni must be feeling after having paraded the team in front of media to show that the team stands united in this world cup match, and that there is no rift between him and Sehwag. Gary Kirsten did inform media about this injury few days back, but media was more interested in creating a better meaty story of a rift between the Indian captain and his deputy.

Anyways, things seem settled for now, however the Indian team does need to look into a few things i think. Raina, Yusuf are in form but they have yet to show that in this world cup. Zaheer is back to what he does best, which is moving the ball off the seam. Let us hope the team peaks at the right time when it matters the most now. Our group is tough, lets hope we make it to the semis easily 🙂
